“Portonovo, from the point of view of beach club, is a little gem. In this context of rare beauty and immersion in nature, La Capannina beach club stands out for its organization, aesthetics and quality of offering.
The standards are quite high in all aspects, from the private parking – a rare commodity in the bay of Portonovo – to the design of the structure, from the distance between the beach stations to the level of catering (there’s also a space dedicated to caviar). We suggest that those wishing to spend a day in this beach club book in advance, particularly on weekends and in August, so as to be able to go down to La Capannina by car, because the alternative – once the parking is sold out – consists of leaving your vehicle at the parking lot and then taking the bus that goes down to the square and taking a walk, however pleasant, along a shaded road.
Another tip: bring your aqua-shoes because the beach is gravel with some stretches of sand and the seabed has some pebbles. Among the experiences to try: sunrise and sunset in a kayak (service available every Thursday).”
